Business Operations
Completion Is Not Capability
A completion record proves a learner finished something. It does not prove the business can perform.
Completion data is useful, but it is often mistaken for impact. A completion record tells you that the learner reached the end of an activity. It does not tell you whether the role can perform the work under real conditions.
LearningOps connects training to capability by defining success measures, verification steps, manager signoff, quality checks, and follow-up measures.
The question is not only "Did they complete it?" The better question is "Can the business now do the work correctly, safely, and consistently?"
Want to operationalize this?
Start with a LearningOps audit or run a SCORM package through the QA tool before it goes to production.
